History

Born September 30, 1994 in Kanagawa Prefecture.

In elementary school, he was trained rigorously in competitive swimming, and started judo in the fifth grade.

While attending Nihon University, he became fascinated with mixed martial arts and aimed to become a professional.

Shooto

March 21, 2016 - Made his debut against Tatsu Kasai. He broke his ulna in his upper arm and had a hiatus of nearly two years. He pushed himself too hard without fully recovering, which led to the same fracture being repeated three times and three surgeries. After his return, he won consecutive matches.

September 19, 2020 - Defeated champion Takashi Nakayama by TKO at the Shooto Pan Pacific Featherweight Championship to win the title.

January 31, 2021 - He faced Taison Naito and won by submission with a rear naked choke, successfully defending his title for the first time. After the match, he announced his participation in RIZIN on the microphone.
July 25, 2021 - He faced Ryoji Kudo in the Shooto World Featherweight Championship and won by decision to win the title.
June 9, 2022 - He participated in Road to UFC: Singapore.
October 23, 2022 - He faced Palazin in a single match at Road to UFC: Singapore and won by decision 3-0.
May 27, 2023 - He faced Kim Sang Won in the first round of the tournament at Road to UFC Season 2: Shanghai.
