Born in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. He started playing baseball in the second grade of elementary school, finished baseball in the sixth grade, and wanted to play an individual sport, so he started attending Shinsei Boxing Gym, where Hasegawa Hozumi is a member. He entered Nishinomiya Kofu High School on a recommendation from boxing. In his third year of high school, he became a Hyogo Prefecture representative in the National Boxing Athletic Meet. He entered Kwansei Gakuin University on a recommendation from boxing. He was selected as a regular in the Kansai Division 1 League from his first year. In his fourth year, he was selected as vice captain and won more games than he lost in the Kansai Division 1 League. He put an end to boxing, got a job in communications engineering, and left martial arts for a while. However, influenced by his older brother, a professional shooter, he decided to aim to become a professional in mixed martial arts (MMA), which he had always been interested in, so he quit his job and moved to Tokyo in July 2020 and joined Master Japan Tokyo. With a record of 8 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw in 11 amateur MMA matches, he was promoted to professional Shooto in April 2023. He will make his professional debut overseas.
